How to Commission

You can see the opening event in our socials and this website. During this time, a form will be available for you to fill with all the information needed to commission your suit.

The form will guide you, requiring information like your personal data, measurements and preferences.

Before commissioning make sure you have a flat shaded, detailed ref on hand. Front and back view alongside internal details are required, side view is greatly appreciated (see example).

AI Generated ref sheets, 3D/VRchat avatars will nto be accepted as refs and your inquiry will be discarded.

Sadly due to the high volume of requests we cannot notify you if you wont be chosen.

If the quote is not accepted within 48h and/or the deposit is not paid withn 72h (exceptions can be communicated and agreed upon), your slot will be cancelled and the next person in list will be chosen.

We can make small modifications to your project like colors and shapes if the fur hasn't been bought yet. Any modification to colors after purchase of the fur will result in extra fees.

New customers will receive an invite link to our Telegram group, you can choose to join if you wish.

Remember that official communications will only come through our socials (you can verify them in this site). Every other communication and confirmation will happen through the @StuffedTailsFursuits email.

Once the crafting process begins, several WIPs will be sent and we will ask for your confirmation in every step.

We invite you to reply in a timely manner during this time to speed up the production and deliver your project ASAP

Remember tha STF is a single person company, production times depend on design complexity and the queue.

STF will make a detailed ref for you! Tailored to meet the fursuit building requirements like materials, details, etc. (keep in mind that a detailed ref of your chartacter is still needed when commissioning).

For certain customer a custom base might be needed. STF will take care of that, you will receive many pics and WIPs to discuss and we will need your confirmation. once the base is printed, it's no longer possible to make modifications.

After the base customization, the furring process begins and just like before you will receive pics and WIPs to confirm, especially regarding colors and patterns. If something doesnt look right, now is the right time to make small modifications.

Once all patterns and colors are confirmed, we will begin cutting the fur and no more modifications are possible.

For the Bodysuit a DTD is needed (you can follow our guide here). Spese date da spedizioni e materiali necessari per fare il DTD sono a carico del cliente.

Make sure to build and ship your DTD correctly based on the instructions you can find HERE.

If your DTD is wrongly built, we might ask you to send a new one.

It's important you ship your DTD in a timely manner, if you dont, you position in the queue might slip

Once your suit is completed, we will take some pictures needed for social medias and it will be then packed an shipped together with some goodies

Shipping costs will be the customer's responsibility and will be calculated only after the project is finished

STF will ship your project only once it's paid in full, including shipping costs.

The shipment method will be chosen with the customer based on preferences and availability.

Once we ship your package, you will receive pictures of it alongside the tracking number.

Once the package leaves the STF Lab premises we won't be responsible for damage and losses.

In the unlucky event your project is lost, STF can propose cheaper solutions for a full rebuild or we can consider a PARTIAL refund which will be pondered depending on the project lost.

STF is not responsible for any import fees when shipping overseas

We will be still available to help in disputes with the shipping company if possible.

If your suit arrives damaged we will be willing to help you in repairs, if you cannot repair the suit yourself, we can accept to take it back for repair, but the customer is responsible for shipping costs

The suit includes a 6 months warranty period. During this time it's possible to request free repairs for mistakes cause by the maker.

During the warranty period the aformentioned allowed repairs will be free of chargem, but the customer is still responsible for shipping costs.

STF will be available for small repairs free of charge during conventions.

We offer solutions to all STF customers even outside of warranty periods like instructions for repairs on your own suit.

Current customers will have priority if they wish to convert their partial suit to a fullsuit, however, they will most likely be inserted in the current queue when time is available.

Moreover for current customers it will be possible to inquiry us for refurbishments and upgrades on the current suit where possible (it's not always possible to upgrade certain parts).

If a customer wishes toi create a V2 of their current suit we can consider a discount.

Any of the following behaviors will not be tolerated by STF: Racism, zoophiles, homophobes, pedofilia or any other kind that might damage the STF image.

If you exert any of the aforementioned hateful behaviors, STF will reserve the right to cancel any collaboration with you (like group photos) and you will be banned from any of our groups and channels
